Makai Brown

is an Indiana born and based artist who recently graduated from Indianapolis University, where he majored in Media Arts & Science with a specialization in Digital Storytelling and a minor in Studio Art & Technology from the Herron School of Art and Design. Through the National Student Exchange Program he also attended Montclair State University and completed several upper level courses in their Animation & Illustration track. Makai is a multifaceted performer being an award winning spoken word poet, member of the nonprofit youth writing organization Word As Bond (Inc.), and classically trained musician. Makai most recently worked as an Assistant Teacher for several courses in the Luddy School of Computing and Informatics (IUI).
